Commercial variety from England used like chickpeas or lentils. Dry peas have a beautiful "red fox"  copper colour and are great in soups, curries and stews. Vines grow to 3 feet and can be self-supporting but chicken wire trellising makes them easy to pick. Has many large edible tendrils and unusual light pink and red flowers.
