This flavourful culinary herb is used across southeast Asia, and has featured in Chinese medicine for thousands of years. Its distinctive, rounded, finely serrated leaves combine well with Thai basil, cilantro, mint, and other aromatic leafy herbs. This hardy annual can grow to 60cm (24”) tall.
