Nigella’s delicate appearance belies its hardy, dependable nature. Pale as a young flower, it matures to intense shades of violet, blue, and white. The distinctive flowers are followed by equally exotic looking seed pods, and both stages can be used as cut flowers in either fresh or dried arrangements. Nigella grows to 50cm (20”) tall.
