The standard hardy thyme with aromatic, evergreen leaves and pretty pink flowers that are attractive to bees. Plants spread steadily over the years growing to 30cm (12”) tall. Use in Mediterranean and Caribbean cuisines, in teas, potpourri, and bouquet garni. Thyme’s oil-rich leaves maintain their flavour well when dried. A perennial in zones 5-8. Mulch in colder climates.
